SKEPTICS OF GAGA.

why lady gaga rocks the fucking world and music
industry:
1. to begin with, she actually sings, plays the piano and
writes her own music. she has been playing the piano
since she was 4, to prodigious results.
2. she is actually INTELLIGENT. she was admitted
to juilliard at 18.if you dont know what that is, its one
of the most, if not, the most prestigious art school in
the fucking world.
3. Shes so smart, that she takes control of her image:
“my album covers are not sexual at all, which was an
issue at my record label. i fought for months. they
didnt think the photos were commercial enough, the
last thing a young woman needs is another picture of
sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease,
touching herself.”
4. Even though most pop starlets dont know how to
spell avant-garde, not to mention its meaning, Lady
GaGa understands the concept so much, she creates
looks based on that type of art; for example, her
Kerby outfit was a commentary on fur.
5. in a world filled with homophobic culture, she uses
her status and fame to support her fans not only to free
them but to free the world of hate and discrimination.
how many artists do you know that advocate for
equality? uhhhhhhhh uhhhh. thats what i thought.
6. she actually has influences that are obvious and
disparate; for example, andy warhol-the pop artist
who invented the famous 4 shades of one picture-and
glam rockstars david bowie and freddie mercury from
queen, pop stars madonna and michael jackson, and
finally, john lennon, who inspired her peace tattoo.
7. her songs have meaning and are critiques of pop
culture and fame whoredom. her album the fame, was
not only about the wonders of fame, but also the
artificiality and dangers of fame, which is evident in her
video paparazzi, which was inspired by princess
Diana, who died because of her fame.
8. in bad romance, the 80s inflected single, gaga talks
about her fear of love monster, stating that she wishes
to consume all the dark parts of her lover. she sings, “i
want your Pyscho, your Vertigo Stick, want you in my
Rear Window” but shes giving the titles of classic
Hitchcock movies sexual innuendo.
9. in dance in the dark, there are beats of industrial
and goth origin from eastern europe, which she
discovered while touring but the song has a more
definite meaning: she, being the protagonist of the
song, has to dance in the dark, or have sex in the dark
because her boyfriends makes her feel insecure.
10. in So Happy I Could Die, im not even going to
defend that song: it stands on its own. just listen to it.
its a beautiful narcissistic song that in the beginning of
the chorus, she is talking about herself. i wont say
more. okay i will say more: its my fucking favorite
song
11. LASTLY, gagas main influence lies in her ability to
combine fashion, choreography, visual art and a wide
variety of pop based musical styles into one cohesive
compelling performance, such as well they are too
fucking many to name but you get the fucking picture
right?
GAGA HAS REINVIGORATED POP CULTURE!
and if you dont see it or are too stubborn to admit it, i
will pray for you
little monster signing out
